On May 8, 1993, I proudly graduated from Alabama State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education English/Language Arts. Then on July 29, 2006, I earned a Master's Degree in School Administration and Supervision from the University of Phoenix.

I spent 20 years at Barbour County High School in Clayton, Alabama where I served as the Senior Class sponsor, English Department Head and Activities Coordinator. During my teaching career I have served as National Honor Society Advisor, SGA Advisor, Junior Class Sponsor, Cheerleader Coach, Building Test Coordinator, and ACT Test Center Supervisor.

I am blessed to be able to return to my Alma Mater to educate our future doctors, lawyers, nurses, teachers, judges, and politicians.
